What is the course about?
Using simple 4 color personalized profiles the Insights® Discovery workshops utilize personalized profiles, interactive and fun exercises to offer a clear and impactful approach for improving self-awareness and understanding of others. These workshops highlight team strengths, weaknesses, and synergies, emphasizing opportunities to enhance communication, collaboration, leadership, and overall well-being.
Main Objective
Your teams will learn how to identify the colour distribution within the team, enabling them to respond appropriately and adapt to each individual style.
Overall, an Insights Discovery workshop provides participants with valuable insights into themselves and others, empowering them to communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and achieve greater success in both professional and personal domains.
Workshop Components
1. Completing the Insights Discovery Evaluator
Prior to the workshop, participants typically complete an online questionnaire known as the Insights Discovery Evaluator. This questionnaire generates a personalized Insights Discovery Profile for each participant, which provides insights into their individual preferences, strengths, potential blind spots, and communication style based on their color energy preferences.
2. Introducing Insights Discovery
The workshop begins with an introduction to the Insights Discovery system, explaining the concept of personality preferences and how they influence behavior, communication, and relationships. Participants learn about the four color energies - Cool Blue, Earth Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Fiery Red - each representing different personality types.
3. Understanding Personal Profiles
Participants receive and review their individual Insights Discovery Profiles during the workshop. Facilitators guide participants through understanding their profile, including their dominant and secondary color energies, communication preferences, decision-making style, strengths and potential areas for development.
4. Exploring Team Dynamics
The workshop facilitates discussions and activities to explore how different personality types interact within teams and groups. Participants learn how to leverage their own strengths and adapt their communication styles to collaborate effectively with others who may have different preferences.
5. Communication Skills Development
Through interactive exercises and role-play scenarios, participants practice communicating more effectively with individuals of different personality types. They learn strategies for building rapport, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive relationships based on insights gained from their own profile and the profiles of others.
6. Self-Reflection and Goal Setting
Participants engage in reflective exercises to identify personal and professional goals for leveraging their strengths and improving areas of development identified through their Insights Discovery Profile. They create action plans for applying insights gained from the workshop in their daily interactions and relationships.
